This model can interface with SurgiSTUD’s Hip Stand to provide a platform for total hip arthroplasty surgical training. The 3d printed bony anatomy has cortical, cancellous, and intramedullary canal regions of bone for high biomechanical and tactile fidelity.
This model was designed with a thicker cortical shell on the femur and ilium in non-operable regions so that the bone is clearly defined under imaging with C arm, especially once metal artifacts are introduced.
This model includes the sacrum, left and right ilium, left and right proximal femur, labrum, skin and radiolucent soft tissue.
The model has been validated and approved for use by the internal hip team within Zimmer Biomet.
This product includes the hip model only and for a functional workshop construct, at least one stand and one model are required.
