This model features a B2 glenoid deformity and can interface with SurgiSTUD’s Shoulder Stand to provide a platform for total shoulder arthroplasty and other shoulder procedure trainings. The 3d printed bony anatomy has cortical, cancellous, and intramedullary canal regions of bone for high biomechanical and tactile fidelity. This model can be outfitted with a wide range of soft tissues to enhance the surgical approach and feel.
This model can walk trainees through the entire total shoulder arthroplasty procedure: exposure, retraction, bony resection, reaming, broaching, and implantation.
The base model includes a scapula, humerus, clavicle, joint capsule, labrum, AC joint capsule, and conoid, trapezoid, and coracoacromial ligaments. It can be enhanced with the addition of the following anatomic features:
Rotator cuff
Biceps muscles
Deltoid muscle
Pectoralis minor
Cephalic vein
Skin and radiolucent soft tissue
